I can’t believe how little I have blogged since being laid off. I’ve almost been busier than I was when I was working. Lots has been going on between spending more time with my family, looking for, applying for and interviewing for jobs, looking into spinning up my own consulting practice, working on my “honey do” list and luckily taking some training.

I’ve spent the better part of the last 2 weeks in various forms of training. Last week I attended a week long training class put on by eFortresses to become a HISP (Holistic Information Security Practitioner) and this week I have been at the GFIRST conference here in Atlanta. It’s been crazy busy and I’ve got things to say about both events. I’m going to post individual write-ups on each event so you can choose to read what interest you.

The GFIRST conference is still going on but I’m going to pass on the rest of it so I can get some other things done this week. I’ll need a vacation when this is all over. :)
