First Annual Atlanta “NotAtBlackHat” Meet up

The economy is harsh right now and many of us who normally spend the last part of July and first of August in Las Vegas at BH/DC are stuck at home. Companies are cutting back on training, conferences and travel. So that leaves lots of us with time on our hands at home. OK, so maybe you don’t really have time on your hands but you’re still at home and not in Vegas.
Well we have a option for those of you in the Atlanta area. We are having our first ever “NotAtBlackHat” Meet up on Thursday July 30, 2009 at 7:00 PM at the Taco Mac in Roswell. The address is 685 W. Crossville Rd. #146 Roswell, GA 30075. Please plan to join us and we can sit around and bemoan talk about the stories that we have been hearing that are coming out of Black Hat and Defcon. We may even come up with our own stories of Security Glory.
According to a recent Tweet by @armorguy Martin Fisher I will be Keynoting the evening. In reality what that probably means is that I’ll greet everyone with a smile and ask them if they know anyone who is hiring.
Maybe that was just his way of volunteering to give us all a pep talk.
Hope to see lots of you there.

I got your pep talk right here, buddy!
I look forward to seeing a good number of the ATL security geeks there.
Greetings from just just the interstate in beautiful West Knoxville, TN! Sorry for those who aren’t able to make it to Black Hat and/or Def Con 17… I’m heading out there and plan on Tweeting on the events so feel free to follow my Twitter @InsiderThreats
