american-flag-250x166 Just wanted to post a quick note to say “HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA” and to say a BIG THANK YOU to all of you who have served America to ensure our freedom. Some of you served, or are serving, in the Armed Forces. Some have served in elected positions and some have served by giving of your time and energy to make America better.

We may not all agree with what we should or should not do as a country but if your motive is to truly make America the best it can be then I say THANKS!

Remember “Freedom Isn’t Free” and it isn’t cheap. It costs all of us something and if we forget that or try to not pay our dues then we will lose our freedoms and that won’t be pretty.

Several years ago I spent a few days in Washington DC for work. I worked 7 – 3 and spent my afternoons and evenings walking around just in complete awe at the city. It was absolutely amazing. The architecture, the history, the feelings that the city creates. It was almost more that I could take in emotionally. I could feel the history. It truly affected me in ways that I would not have imagined possible.

Let’s not forget that America is a great country and let’s keep it that way!
